Our Funeral fleet consists of two different fleets, Executive Jaguar XJs and the prestigious Daimler DS420s. This allows us to provide both modern and traditional fleets dependant on the family’s wishes.
The Jaguar XJs were delivered to us in September 2010 following research in various makes available to us. We chose the Jaguars for their quality and refinement and we felt they offered the best specification for us and families. The limousine is finished in dove grey leather, boasts ample room for 6 passengers and full climate control for comfort.
Our Daimler fleet consists of two hearses and three limousines and are the iconic vehicles of the funeral industry. Traditional vehicles maintained to the highest standard these vehicles stand out on a funeral cortege. Although they don’t have the modern specification of the Jaguars they are large smooth running vehicles which gives the funeral cortege that classic look.
In addition to our motor fleet, Chelmsford Star Co-operative Funeral Services can also offer the traditional Horse-drawn hearse and mourning coach driven by fully qualified and experienced coachmen. The Horse-drawn is available with either Black Friesions (Belgian Blacks), or White Hearse and White Horses. The beautiful and majestic horses are available in teams of two, four and six all adorned in typical funeral attire.
