How do I become a member?

Where can I earn points?
Points can be collected on a Co-operative Membership card every time you shop in Chelmsford Star Co-operative stores including food, departmental stores, travel and funeral services (certain exclusions apply).
How many points can I earn?
We give 2 points for every whole £1 spent in any of our stores excluding Lottery, PayPoint, postage stamps, cigarettes and tobacco, currency and gift vouchers. So, the more you spend throughout the year the greater a share of the profits you’ll earn.
Share of the Profits
Points are converted annually into a share of the profits (dependant upon the amount of profit the Society has made) following the Annual General Meeting in April or May. This share of the profits is then transferred onto your card for use against future purchases in the Society.
Can I use the card elsewhere?
The card can also be used to collect points in any other Co-operative Society displaying the Co-operative Membership sticker on their front door or window.
