Chelmsford Star Co-operative members belong to the communities we serve and are the linchpin of our relationship with neighbours near and far.

Members actively participate in the running of the Society, support the ethical and co-operative values that underpin the business, and in return also share in it through the dividend and special member discount events.

Every year our staff vote to choose a charity for the society "Charity of the Year", this year we have chosen to sponser Families InFocus (Essex). Families InFocus are a parent led charity providing holistic support to families of children with disabilities and special needs.

Throughout 2011 and 2012 we will be getting involved by raising money through events at our stores, shops and funeral homes, and by asking for sponsors for all sorts of activities yet to be decided.
