Charity of the Year

Thanks once again to a staff vote, our new charity of the year is Macmillan Cancer Support. We now of course have to try to beat last years astounding figure, so watch this space for more details. Meanwhile, if you are shopping in any of our stores and would to donate to this charity then you will find a collection pot on all our till points. Or talk to the store manager to see what other money raising events they are holding.

We are pleased to announce that our charity of the year ending May 2010, Little Havens Childrens Hospice, received from us a phenomenal £30,831! The challenge was to beat last year’s figure, despite the economic difficulties we were facing. With the help of much fund raising, including collection pots, dress down days, fashion shows, and other in-store events, we’re pleased to say we succeeded.

In 2008/2009 we raised an impressive £22,300 for Helen Rollason’s Heal Cancer Charity.

In 2007/2008 Essex Air Ambulance were handed a cheque for £22,000
