Helping our local community is at the heart of what we do and it’s a shocking statistic that 13 million people in the UK are living below the poverty line, local food banks can act as their savior and we are here to help…
We are working with both The George Yard Shopping Centre and The Braintree Food Bank to help local people in a crisis.
We have provided stickers for the food bins in George Yard, which have now been padlocked to discourage unsuitable food from being taken and instead guide vulnerable people to the Braintree Food Bank.

Our Great Notley and Church Street, Bocking Co-op food stores are onboard too, as they have set up donation stations in their stores for customers and members to donate items such as tinned vegetables, coffee, toiletries etc.
