Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society, a Fair Tax Mark accredited organisation is proud to be part of Fair Tax Week 2022, which runs 11-19 June.
Fair Tax Week 2022 is a UK-wide recognition of the companies and organisations that are proud to promote responsible tax conduct and pay their fair share of corporation tax. Using #CelebratingFair, the Week champions a level playing field for businesses.
Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society is part of a growing list of organisations that can proudly display the Fair Tax Mark, having been independently assessed and certified by the Fair Tax Foundation.
Lisa Waghorn, Chief Financial Officer said: “We’re proud to be #CelebratingFair with our customers/clients. It’s great to have Fair Tax Week as a way to draw attention to the need for honesty and transparency when it comes to tax, for the benefit of everyone.”
Graham Drummond, Head of Communications, Fair Tax Foundation, said: “Fair Tax Week 2022 is all about celebrating the responsible UK businesses like Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society, that are doing the right thing when it comes to tax. Corporation tax is so important when considered against the huge array of public services it helps fund – from education, health and social care, to flood defence, roads and policing.”
“Fair Tax Week is a perfect opportunity for the brilliant businesses that are proud of their contribution to come forward and say what they pay with pride.”
