Weekly Coffee Mornings
All members are welcome to join us at Brambles restaurant in our Quadrant Department stores in Chelmsford every Monday or Braintree every Thursday, for a mix of quizzes, guest speakers, fun and friendship. All in attendance will receive a heavily discounted drink of their choice.

Tree Planting
A unique tree planting initiative in commemoration of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Details of the event:
- Friday 24th February 2023 – moved from Fri 16th Dec 2022 due to adverse weather conditions
- Meet at 9.45am in the car park near to the Castle Play area (Hylands Park). We will then have a short walk to the tree planting area.
- Parking permits will be provided
- Session should end at 1pm.
- Toilets, hot drinks and biscuits all provided.
- Wear warm clothes and stout footwear (or wellies).
- All equipment will be provided.

Fairtrade Wine Tasting
Join us to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight at our wine-tasting event with special guest, Neil Bull, Owner and Chief Tutor of the Essex Wine.
Date: Tuesday 28th February 2023
Time: 6pm – 8.30pm
Location: Brambles Restaurant Quadrant Chelmsford – Entrance via the riverside doors. Doors open at 5.45pm.
Neil Bull, Owner and Chief Tutor of the Essex Wine School will be guiding you through a selection of our Fairtrade Wines.
“Neil became interested in wine whilst working in the city and started studying with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). He successfully completed the Level 2 and Level 3 exams many years ago. He left the City in 2010 and went back to the WSET and completed the Level 4 diploma. Food and wine are Neil’s twin passions and he loves nothing more than sharing his obsession with others.”
You’ll also get to taste a selection of Fairtrade Chocolates and learn about the impact of Climate Change on Fairtrade producers globally.
