It’s that time of year again, and our Funeral teams are preparing for our annual Christmas Remembrance Service. Mince pies have been bought, mulled wine is being heated, and singing voices are being warmed up.
Taking place on 7th December, from 6pm, our teams will host the usual evening of heart-warming carols, messages from both religious and non-religious officials, the chance to leave personal messages on a specially Blessed Tree and a performance of The Last Post from Royal British Legion standard bearers and buglers… However, this year, due to the popularity of previous events, we’ll be holding two services – both at the same time.
Braintree: The Private Chapel, Co-op Funeral Directors, Clare Rd, CM7 2PA
Chelmsford: Central Baptist Church, Victoria Road South, CM1 1LN
Both events will also feature our Family Liaison Officers reading a Roll Call in memorial of those lost.
If you’d like to include a loved one’s name, please get in touch with one of our team.
All our branches also have a supply of memorial tree-cards ready for your messages, so pop in to pick one up early.
If you can’t make either of our services, we’ll gladly hang any completed messages on the Blessed Tree on your behalf.
