We are looking for people like YOU to step forward and represent our membership!
For over 150 years, we have been the independent co-op for Essex. Our elected members have ensured that their communities have benefitted through the decisions and investments we've made and the initiatives we've launched. Did you know that members of Chelmsford Star Co-op are part owners, and therefore also have the chance to have their say?
If you are a member and you'd like to get more involved, there are three levels of representation available depending on how much time you'd like to put in. Those wishing to gain invaluable business experience tend to work their way up from the bottom tier (Members Council), before progressing on to the Membership Committee and then up to our Board of Directors. For more information on each level, what may be involved and expertise or knowledge required, check out Judy's story below, or contact our Society Secretary, firstname.lastname@example.org.

This opportunity only comes once a year, and the deadline for applications is 2nd April 2018. Please stand up to be counted!
If you'd like to hear about how we are doing, but don't wish to become more involved in the decision making, please come along to our AGM on Monday 14th May at the Council Chambers in Chelmsford's Civic Centre, Duke Street. Further details will be displayed in all stores from Monday 19th March. Please note you will need to be a member with Chelmsford Star Co-op to attend. If you are not yet a member, you can join online here: https://www.chelmsfordstar.coop/members/join-today
