The quadrant Chelmsford is to introduce new fashion brands to its store for spring 2016 including iconic eponymous brands Betty Barclay and Gerry Weber who will be joined by White Stuff, Sandwich and more soon to be announced.
The move follows in the wake of the recent demise of ladies contemporary brand East, who slipped into administration in late June, resulting in a number of stores and concession closing which included quadrant, Chelmsford.
Head of Department Stores, Stephen Rogers said;
“It’s always very sad to see a major fashion brand like East go, but the difficult economic climate and changeable weather has affected some brands more than others.”
“East has traded with us for over 10 years, and we will miss them, however we are looking forward to rejuvenating our fashion floor with some exciting major new names, very soon.”
The store is currently relocating one of its top performing brands Masai, onto the space vacated by East.
