Many coffee farmers are being forced to change what they grow due to rising temperatures and an increase of disease, and with coffee beans being a crop affected more than most your favourite caffeinated pick-me-up is at risk of disappearing.
Thrill seekers young and old can now purchase heavily discounted entry tickets to an Essex theme-park, thanks to an ‘everybody wins’ initiative between Southend’s Adventure Island, Danbury Park School and the Co-op store in Danbury, owned by Chelmsford Star Co-operative.
Essex’s number 1 theme park, which reopens for the winter season on February 15th, is providing the Danbury community with greatly reduced tickets that can be used at any point in the year, and the good news is that every time one is purchased from the local store, the nearby school will earn money.
Come and join us at our Danbury Co-operative food store on Saturday 8th February (10.30am) along with Adventure Island's mascot, Snappy and our mascot, Cooper Bear to launch the ticket sales!

Sold in packs (or bunches) of four for £2, the ice cream dessert has a fruity and sweet strawberries and cream flavour, topped off with delicious strawberry sauce, served up in a vibrant green wafer cone.

- Co-op Soave, Veneto
Better known for producing Prosecco and Amarone, the Veneto is also home to Soave, a shareable, easy-drinking white that’s a good match for salads and other light dishes.

Chelmsford Star stands alongside our Australian co-op allies, and so we have donated $1000 AUD to assist them in their efforts.
