The Co-operative Travel, Chelmsford are shortlisted for Top Travel Agency Award.

Our Chelmsford Travel branch have been ranked among the top 50 travel agencies in the East of England by the industry’s leading specialist publication; the Travel Trade Gazette (TTG), in association with Kuoni.

The prestigious hotlist will be decided through a unique combination of rating by suppliers and visits to top-performing stores in every region.

The TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies is dedicated entirely to recognising excellence in retailing. The awards comprise 20 different categories, highlighting stand-out stores in 12 different regions, plus 6 nationwide categories for different kinds of agency business and UK & Ireland’s No.1 Travel Agency 2019.

The TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies will be revealed at a glamorous black-tie ceremony on April 25, 2019 at the cutting-edge Vox at Resorts World Birmingham, with a three-course dinner, top entertainment and plenty of surprises.

TTG Media group editor Pippa Jacks said: “Now in its fourth year, our Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative takes us the length and breadth of the country to uncover stories of brilliant agents going the extra mile for their customers, giving great value, and serving their communities.

“With extremely stiff competition once again this year, any high street agency that has made it onto the shortlist should be extremely proud.”

Stacey Turland, our Chelmsford branch manager said: “We’re so proud and excited to have been recognised as one of the best travel agencies in the country. Our regular clients often tell us so, but it is fantastic for our efforts to have been noticed by the Travel Trade Gazette!”

The shortlisting stage was undertaken by a panel of 50 travel suppliers including airlines, tour operators, cruise lines and car hire providers, who rated hopeful agencies according to their business performance, customer service, expertise, and innovation.

In the next stage of judging, a TTG journalist will visit each shortlisted agency to carry out an assessment.
